Global franchise Vons Chicken has opened a new location at the Town Center of Mililani. Founded in South Korea in 2007, the company now has more than 70 locations throughout the U.S., as well as countries including Guam, China, Guatemala, Vietnam and Cambodia. The brand is known for its variety of roast and fried chicken. Vons opened its first Hawaii location in 2015, and now has several locations across Oahu and on Maui. “Menu items are made to order so that every order is fresh,” Hanael Chang, franchisee of the Mililani location, noted in a statement. “All our sauces and powders come directly from South Korea.” The eatery joins about 90 other retailers and restaurants that are housed at the 449,000-square-foot Town Center of Mililani. “We’re happy to continue to add new flavors from around the world for our community to enjoy,” stated Shelley Morisaki, general manager of Town Center of Mililani. “Vons Chicken joins our diverse selection of eateries, providing a host of dining options right here in the heart of Central Oahu.”
