M & J Wilkow announced today that it has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of four dynamic industry professionals to the Company's growing Retail Management Group.
Martin Liles has joined M & J Wilkow as Vice President of Retail Property Management. Mr. Liles is an industry veteran, with more than twenty years of experience in the redevelopment, management and leasing of retail assets. He comes to M & J Wilkow from Brixmor Property Group, where he served as Vice President of Property Management and Redevelopment and was responsible for overseeing the operations of 14 million square feet of retail real estate throughout the Midwest. In his new role, Mr. Liles will head M & J Wilkow's property management and redevelopment efforts for its expanding retail portfolio. Mr. Liles holds a BA in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Amy Resch has joined M & J Wilkow in the role of Senior Portfolio Manager, where she will oversee a portfolio of the Company's lifestyle retail assets. Ms. Resch was previously with The Rouse Companies, where she was responsible for the property management and marketing of a group of regional shopping centers in the Midwest market. She holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, as well as the Certified Marketing Director (CMD) designation from the ICSC.
Also joining M & J Wilkow in the Senior Portfolio Manager role is Michael Golden. Mr. Golden comes to M & J Wilkow from Westfield, where he managed operations and construction projects for such high profile retail assets as Westfield's San Francisco Center, Westfield Old Orchard, and Chicago O'Hare Airport Terminal 5. In his role with M & J Wilkow, Mr. Golden will apply his experience to the Company's lifestyle retail properties. Mr. Golden received a BA from Indiana University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Arizona.
Darcy Rutzen has been named Director of Marketing and Communications for M & J Wilkow. Ms. Rutzen brings more than fifteen years of experience in field marketing and property management with real estate companies including Simon Property Group, Prime Retail and Westfield. In this newly created role, she will be responsible for the company's corporate and field marketing strategy. Ms. Rutzen earned a BA in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin and a MBA from Northwestern University. She holds the ICSC CMD designation.
