Wood Village Town Center recently received the Community Pride Award for recognition of exceptional care in building and grounds maintenance. After being nominated by several of the Wood Village community members, M & J Wilkow was pleased to accept the only award given to a commercial property by the Mayor and Parks Commission Chair of the City of Wood Village.
While presenting M & J Wilkow with the award, the Wood Village City Council offered the following remarks: "A well maintained home or business is a great way to show the pride we have in our community. Attractive, well-kept properties help keep neighborhood property values high, and make the area less likely to be a target for crime. Wood Village Town Center is recognized for taking exceptional care in maintaining its buildings and grounds in an exceptional manner. The center's prominent location makes it an inviting and colorful front door to the Wood Village community, and sets a standard for other business owners to aspire to."
