Walnut Creek Shopping Center, Walnut Creek
M&J Wilkow and the Royal Bank of Scotland recently closed a new long-term, fixed rate mortgage loan that was used to refinance the existing debt on the Property located in Walnut Creek, CA. Walnut Creek is considered to be one of the more desirable and affluent suburban communities in San Francisco's "East Bay" region. The Shopping Center consists of a 52,797 square foot street-level retail center, anchored by a 23,000 square foot OfficeMax store. The adjacent156,000 square foot, three-level storage facility was sold to Public Storage Inc. in February 2011. In other news, OfficeMax, recently exercised its five-year lease extension option, affirming its long-term commitment to the Property.
