M & J Wilkow is pleased to announce the opening of a new Kroger Supermarket Fuel Center at Varner Crossing, an 80,466 square foot community shopping center located in Powder Springs, Georgia. All tenants, including Kroger, are extremely excited about the new addition to the retail center. Kroger began selling gasoline at its supermarkets in Colorado in late 1998. Today, the Company operates supermarket fuel centers in over 29 states and expects to have more than 750 supermarket fuel centers open by the end of fiscal 2009.

"Gasoline is a natural addition to Kroger's one-stop-shopping strategy because it offers our customers tremendous convenience and value. Fuel centers also allow Kroger to build on our decades of experience in the convenience store business," said Robert Moeder, Kroger vice president of convenience stores and supermarket petroleum.

The Kroger Co. (www.kroger.com) is an American retail supermarket chain, founded by Bernard Henry Kroger in 1883 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
