In a show of support for those suffering unimaginable losses from last week's tragic wildfires on Maui, M & J Wilkow has launched its Malama Lahaina & Maui Campaign. Individuals, families and businesses across the country are invited to make donations directly to the Hawai'i Community Foundation's Maui Strong Fund or drop off non-perishable donations (see suggested items below) at select retail shopping centers throughout M & J Wilkow's national portfolio.

M & J Wilkow owns and manages three retail properties in Hawai'i, including the Outlets of Maui location on Front Street in Lahaina, which was sadly lost in the wildifres. The Outlets of Maui has been a premier shopping destination in historia Lahaina town since 1989, undergoing renovations in 2013. The company also owns and manages two other centers in Hawai'i, including Town Center of Mililani location on O'ahu and Parker Ranch Center located on the island of Hawai'i.

"Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with our Outlets of Maui 'ohana (family) and all of the people of Lahaina and Maui," said M & J Wilkow National Director of Marketing Connie Dyer. "M & J Wilkow invites people across the country to join our effort to lend assistance to these devastated communities as they begin their long road to recovery."

Suggested donations include new blankets, pillows, bedding, toiletries, batteries, flashlights, clothing, shoes, toys, diapers, baby wipes, baby formula, and non-perishable food items, as well as gift cards to Costco, Walmart and Home Depot. Items donated at collection sites outside of Hawai'i will be sent to M & J Wilkow-managed properties located in the islands and then distributed to partnering community organizations.

The growing list of participating shopping centers includes: Parker Ranch Center (Hawai'i island), Town Center of Mililani (O'ahu), Water Tower Place (Chicago), The Waterfront (Pitsburgh), Soutlands (Aurora, CO), The Promenade Bolingbrook (suburgan Chicago), East Gate Square (New Jersey) and several of M & J Wilkow's office property locations. Please check each center's website or social media for donation hours and deadlines.
