A slate of new tenants will start filling vacancies at the Marketfair North Shopping Plaza over the next few months.
Yogurt City, Clothes Mentor and Onondaga Flooring will all be open at the center in the next 90 days, said Shary Thur-Pecaro, President of Thur Retail, which handles leasing for the shopping center.
Yogurt City is a restaurant franchise chain that sells frozen yogurt treats. One of the most popular, fasted growing brand names for frozen yogurt chains, Yogurt City operates primarily in New England; but has recently expanded into Ohio and Michigan, as well as down the Atlantic Coast to Virginia and the Carolinas.
Clothes Mentor is a national chain, with 104 stores in 26 different states, that focuses on buying and reselling used, brand-name fashions, including clothing, apparel, accessories and shoes.
Onondaga Flooring is a flooring consultant and installer, offering one of the largest in-stock selections of carpet and hard-surface flooring at the best prices. The Marketfair location will be the third for Onondaga Flooring in Central New York. The company has been in business more than 45 years.
In addition to these new tenants, we are pleased to report that both A.C. Moore and Staples have extended the terms of their leases.
