M & J Wilkow Announces the Acquisition of Marketfair North Shopping Center

(03/07/2007) -- M & J Wilkow is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Marketfair North Shopping Center, a 98% leased, 137,158 square foot shopping center located at the southeast corner of Interstate 481 and Route 31, in Clay, New York – the largest and fastest growing suburb of Syracuse. Twenty-three retailers are located at the property, which is anchored by Marshalls, Staples and A.C. Moore and situated directly across Route 31 from the Great Northern Mall, a 909,000 square foot regional mall anchored by Sears, Macy’s, Regal Cinema and Dick’s Sporting Goods. M & J Wilkow’s strategic plan contemplates (i) renewing or replacing leases with below market rents; and (ii) leasing the remaining vacant space in the shopping center.
