M & J Wilkow, Ltd. is pleased to announce the formation of a joint venture with an affiliate of the California State Teachers’ Retirement System (“CalSTRS”) for the purpose of acquiring retail properties and multi-purpose properties with a retail component, located anywhere in the United States. The joint venture, which will be funded with as much as $100 million in equity capital, will pursue opportunities to acquire both core and value-add real estate assets. CalSTRS is advised by Heitman Capital Management LLC.
