M & J Wilkow, Ltd. announces its most recent Property Management Assignment

On October 14, 2005 M & J Wilkow, Ltd. was appointed Managing Agent for the historic Gage Building, a 12-story 172,479 square foot office building located at 18 South Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. Designed by the architectural firm Holabird and Roche, the Gage Building was constructed in 1899 with a (recently refurbished) terra cotta façade designed by Louis Sullivan. The Gage Building was listed on the National Registry of Historic Places in 1985 and designated a Chicago landmark in 1996. Currently 72% leased, the Gage Building is undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation project covering its passenger elevators, HVAC systems and utility services. Roosevelt University occupies 81,540 square feet on the first through fifth floors. Construction of an upscale dining facility will begin in January 2006 within the ground floor retail space directly across from Millennium Park.
